Sam is the complete opposite of her sister. While her sister loves shopping with her friends at the mall and cheerleading Sam loves art and walking her dog in the park with her best friend. Sam does not mind their differences and loves to have her life be nothing like her sister’s. But there is one problem. Sam is in love with her sister’s artistic and eccentric boyfriend who she believes should be with her. While dealing with these feelings Sam is also attending art classes as a punishment from her parents as solution to her pursuing her artistic interests in Dutch class. After ditching a class one day in protest Sam stops an assassin from murdering the President of the United States and her whole life turns upside down.
Happy Fourth of July!! I thought this book would be a great review to celebrate the holiday! I actually listened to the book as an audio book which I got in CD form from the library. Turns out I read the second book in this series years before I read the first one. I would totally recommend this book but I did find this book to be a little bit young for my age. The plot was another “woe is me I’m not popular and my family doesn’t understand me” stories. Which some people really enjoy and relate to but I moved on from that stage in my life after 8th grade. If you are a little older and this plot seemed as young to you as it seemed to me I would recommend reading the second book. The plot’s pretty easy to follow and I think its a good read for high schoolers like myself. But anything by Meg Cabot is always going to be a little saucy and a great read.
Have a wonderful Fourth of July! I may start blogging again regularly but I’m not 100% sure. Also I’m going to college in the fall eeeek I’m so excited 😀
Dear Amazing Readers of Paper Perfection,
How have you guys been? I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! So, I know I haven’t posted in a bit but I thought I’d just write you all a letter to check in and say “hello.” Also, the 1 year anniversary of my blog was yesterday so I just want to thank all of you for sticking with me and loving me and my posts even when my posting schedule’s kinda chaotic. Currently I’m in California visiting some family for the holidays but I am missing the cold weather of my home state. I’m assuming you guys want to hear about my reading habits so I’ll get to that. While I haven’t been posting much I am one book away from my 70 book goal for the year!!! *woot woot* I recently finished Forever by Judy Blume, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli, This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen, and Let It Snow by John Green and others. They were all amazing books and let me know if you would like reviews on any one of them. I’ve also recently been catching up on some of my favorite shows like Scream Queens, Reign, Vampire Diaries, and Greys Anatomy. Please do not spoil these for me I am so incredibly behind :(. Anyway, I just wanted to check in you guys and let you know that I love and care about you all and I’m so glad you choose to subscribe to me. If you ever want to talk about life, music, or your new favorite thing to watch feel free to get in touch using my contact page (please contact me I love to hear about you guys)!
P.S I just got a bunch of gift cards to Amazon and Barnes & Noble for Christmas and I’m planning on buying some new books so let me know of some that you love so I can buy them 🙂
Hey guys! So, these are some pictures from my weekend. I just thought I’d share a little bit of my life with you. Most of these were taken Sunday night with my best friend Eislynn. We just hung out, got some donuts and books (I mostly got the books) and ended the night with some Chinese food. Also, after that we went to the park when it was dark, at my insistence, to go on the swings. I hope you all had an awesome weekend and enjoy the photos!
I hope you enjoyed this post let me know if you want more like it 🙂

Here is a song to get you pumped!!!
Survivor – Eye of the Tiger
“It’s the eye of the tiger, it’s the thrill of the fight
Risin’ up to the challenge of our rivals
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he’s watchin’ us all with the eye of the tiger”
P.S Sorry for all the exclamation points I am just so excited!
